Anyone hit by the latest banwave hear back from GGG yet?
" Modifying the game client in any way has always been bannable, and there has never been any ambiguity surrounding that. Additionally - if you download and install that mod (and I am not sugggesting that you do so), when you next open the game client you will have a pop-up window warning you that disallowed third-party software has been detected and that this is your only warning. So if your friend finds unofficial files to drop into the game's install folder to override how the client is supposed to operate and disregards an explicit warning about doing so, then it is what it is. Zero sympathy. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support. " not denying sth is in no way, shape or form a reason to believe that someone is guilty. people might not feel like investing the energy to discuss things with other people that may or may not have already made their decision on wether or not someone is guilty in their mind. However, i would also interpret the op the way it is probably meant. And i wanne respect that, because that way the thread is a bit more modest than players that claim they got banned because of awakened poe trade, which seems to be a common narrative(that is not true obv). |

" Wasn't aware of this so as long as there is a warning message, it is fair then. But they should really support wide-screen but whatever, I don't personally care. If my account ever got banned for some silly stuff I would quit and stop playing, theres too many other games competing for your attention. And if it was for a valid reason, then its legit. |

Widescreen support is literally zoom hacking. They specifically removed it because using a widescreen resolution allowed you to see drastically more, around 20-30% more compared to standard resolution, giving you a pretty massive advantage.
So yeah, using zoomhacks is bannable. |

Glad to see GGG is doing something about (CHEATING). Maybe they found a way to sharpen their (EAGLE) eyes to identify all the players utilizing all the little "helper" apps.

In a court you would be arguing that after the verdict was made public and the media writing about it, you say: guilty until proven innocent :) Thats not how it works. GGG has already proven the person cheated. they do not care about your or indeed our opinion. And yes, you lose all your ill gotten gains on the first offense. As it should be.
