4 month league cycle is way too long

Yes lots of lost souls thinking they're a poe-player. Also lots of Fortnite players.

4 months was never the goal anyway so don't kid yourselves. After release this will not be on a 4-month schedule because of the only statement ever said on this: "We're leaving money on the table". But surely there's a world where they give up 25% revenue to please dad gamers. Wait, wrong game.

I'd imagine it falls to a 3 month cadence eventually, which has been typical for PoE 1 too.

Making the cadence too short, like 1 month, would prolly just mean that a lot of players remain in the previous league; meaning that, there's less general hype and excitement for the league launch and meaning that there's less activity in trade.

Since 50% of new POE 2 players have gone, it became not profitable to run leagues every 2 months (POE1 + POE2). Because same people play them both. So it seems like 5-6 months will be a new window for POE1,2 leagues. 3 months for poe 1, then 3 months for poe 2.

They said it would be 4 months. It should be 4 months.
Until they prepare and announce the cycle change, they should keep their word.
Such postponing is looking really bad and if we land on 6months i am going to quit even tho i have almost 2k hours in poe2 (0 hours in poe1).
6 months would be just unbearable for me and how i play games.

2 months, any longer is crazy, server is dead, and the economy is trashed.

Yeah the league is so fast. Its insane. After 8 Weeks i played 6+ characters to lvl 98+ all with insane and or mirror tier gear. So, yeah. sitting at 20k div. Now we have to wait another 8 weeks to enjoy it again. Thats... so f'ing long. But oh well we will wait. Tbh, its a ridicolous amount of time to wait. Would have been better to end the league after 2.5months and reset and just start with 0.4 V2 again.

2-3 Month Cycle: Perfect (3 still a bit long tbh but thats ok)

4 Month Cycle: Ok'ish, still alot of time to wait for next league. Eco is already Trash at this point.

5+ Month Cycle: Simply stop producing your game. Announce it dead. You failed. Miserably.

Tho you should announce 0.5 and 0.6 with EXACT release Dates (preferably less than 4 Month Cycle) and under any, i mean literally any Circumstances, dont ever change the Date. OR even the TIME. That should ease the feelings of the players a slightly tiny tiny bit for your, nicely said, "massive" f up. Since we should play 0.5 since a week.

4 months is alright as long as they bringing much of quality content within one patch.
