Beast craft option "Add a Mod to a Rare Map" doesn't work

I was trying to add a modifier to a 16.5 map and ran out of exalted orbs on SSF, tried to add it through beast crafts but got a "Item is not a Map" message. Screenshots:
Update: it actually doesn't work on any maps, no matter if influenced or not.
