First Build, Hoping for Help

How much more damage/defense will I need to do late maps consistently (tier 16)?

Right now I'm dying a third of the time within the first second, or I tank everything but can't do damage. Also, I either one-shot the boss, or deal no damage, nothing really in between. Anything more than scoured T16 is dangerous/frustrating.
