question about starting two poe clients
|
Hello I have a question about starting two poe clients I have read a lot about it and read that it is allowed to put intro the map to get higher quant multiplier and as a buffer for auras but I would be more interested if I could put a necromancer in game to get more auras and if there is a higher chance that you will be banned by the minions because they move and attack automatically to get the most auras you have to build in a few minions intro your build don't want to risk my account for it
so my idea was making a necromancer and build him like a necromancer with like this spectres Perfect Primal Thunderbird Perfect Spirit of Fortune Perfect Blood Demon Perfect Pain Artist Perfect Naval Officer + AG + the necromancer he have also some useful auras Last bumped on Apr 10, 2026, 6:10:33 AM

Whether this would result in a ban would depend entirely on how you interact with the two clients.
If you broadcast e.g. mouse clicks to both clients, GGG will interpret that as gameplay automation / botting (they don't really distinguish between the two, tbqh) and it could absolutely result in permanent account closure. If you're constantly alt-tabbing between the two, that's fine. I would just gently make the point that almost nobody actually does this. It is a massive time investment for a distinctly slow and clunky experience. It's not really worth it. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.

simply place it on the blight map near the pump
only the auto stuff what the game will hand out like automation support with convocation and a cast when dmg take setup for auto bone offering no mirroring mouseclick or keyboard click just boost the quant + auras |

but is minions not a sort of auto attacking and could be counting too as something like abusing the system ?

Here's a good rule of thumb - forget that the 'active' character's client exists. If you suddenly needed to use the toilet, or see who was ringing your doorbell, and you forgot to pause the game - what would happen? If you're playing one character actively and the other is entirely AFK-esque in its conduct, then you're golden. But if what the support character is doing diverges from what would happen while you weren't at the computer, then you have a problem.
Minion AI is server-side and not judged to be an indicator of what you are (or aren't) doing. Well, provided you aren't specifically interacting with minion AI, e.g. with Predator Support's Signal Prey ability. Even if you are - so long as you alt-tab to do it, that is completely fine. GGG don't have any multiboxing-specific rules or policies. They will view it entirely through the lens of "is this person (essentially) just botting?" Nothing you say would cause them to decide that you are. I'm going to be honest - Path of Exile is a very fast-paced game and the goal would be to have a sufficiently powerful character that this clunkiness just isn't at all worth it. GGG are likely opposed to this being a good idea - they certainly don't want people to feel like they "should" be doing it - but they don't really mind people finding niche uses for things (and tbqh, they're only too happy for people to be inefficient with their time - they're big on player agency and our choices mattering). Forgive the self-promotion - but I did post [Guide] What a macro is allowed to do in Path of Exile and it is essentially one large collection of GGG's various statements on macros over the years. A lot of it will be relevant - and if you read it, it will both give you certain guardrails (e.g. no timers!), and it might also help to give you more confidence. I am extremely proud of that thread. Also - remember that you are permitted to run only two clients on any one machine.
So if you were to hypothetically start running around with multiple support characters, that could result in a Terms of Service violation-based permanent account closure. GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.

" That is not correct; it doesn't matter which client(s) you use. The rule applies to the cumulative total. " Source: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3003329#p23716889 GGG do not offer first-party Technical Support.
