Merged account trying to navigate pob, lost everything I had

I was trying to figure out how to plug my ps5 characters into pob and followed a video. I guess I had an old account and merged with it in the process. When I merged, I thought, obviously my nee account that I'm using would stay active, but no. I lost a lot of money, all my characters and hundreds of hours. I need my account fixed

I figured it out. It was an option that was never explained to me in the character screen
