Corrupted items should keep a record of what the corruption did
|
When you hover over the item in inspection you should be able to see what happened to the item once corrupted.
It is a basic QoL feature and not having it is probably as dumb as spending 4.5 billion dollars on sending astronauts to the moon and asking them to take 3 minutes figure out which number of window they are looking out of because no one bothered to label them. Just add it ffs. It will take your UI/UX dude 2 hours. Do it however you want, put it under the corruption, make it only appear when hovering, whatever makes you happy just having an item that is like oh we have this thing in the game that is a core feature that does random stuff to your items but you don't get to know what is i unless you literally did admin yourself to triple check someone else's homework.... Nah. Not even nah. Hell nah. Hell I would even pay for it with an identify scroll giving them a reason to keep existing. I just want to know what happened to the thing i just wasted like 8 currency types on due to not having screenshotted, then alt tabbed, then vaaled and then not being able to directly compare a list.... there are a thousand different ways to display this. Hell you can even make a nice little graphic of how it rotted or whatevered your item I just want to know what it did without having to take personal responsibility for a lack of basic information. When pressing alt you can "pin" the item description that will stay on your screen.
You corrupt your item and can see the change comparing the pinned item and the one you now have. SSF-HCSSF player

" Also you can send the item to a Local chat or be more extreme Copy paste the item stats into a Notepad :DDDDD |

- Link item to any chat
- Corrupt item. - Compare the results with item linked on the chat. You can pin the window so it wont close. |

Blindly exalt until no more room for mods, quality, socket, vaal-slam.
No need to worry about how it looks until you're all done. Just how RNGesus intended. Who am I to say anything, I don't respect my time either. Last edited by karsey#2995 on Apr 9, 2026, 9:15:48 AM
