Taking reflected damage with no reflect mod

Hello,

I've got question if this interaction is correct.
So on reflected ring you can get "You and your Minions take #% increased Reflected Damage" opposite of what Essence of Insanity does. But I'm taking reflected damage on every damage that I do (even in act zone with no reflect mod). Basically what it does it is "every damage is reflected back to you"
Is this interaction correct?
My logic was as long as there is no "reflect" mod on map this shouldnt do anything right?

Are you sure it's not the "Lose 78 life per enemy killed" mod on your ring?

Ah damn forgot about it sacrifice on shield puts me on like 1 life or so, you are rgiht thanks!
