Have they made the game easier?

I took a break from before Druid was released and just came back a few days ago.
The early parts of this game seem so much easier now, why did they change this?

Or is Druid just OP (It really doesn't seem like this is it)

Not just the early parts, the whole thing is much easier...

they made lots of tiny changes that reduced difficulty

A lot of the changes were needed, imo, such as enemies cancelling their own animations to begin another attack faster / attack while running full speed.

some others:
-uncut gems are more plentiful
-damaging ground effects were removed/nerfed
-effects of enemy mods no longer linger after they die (most of them)
-respec costs were reduced
-crafting currency is more available
