POE2 endgame atlas

With the next league coming up, Ive been thinking a little bit about how i would like the end game to be. my main thought was: the endless atlas, with its countless nodes is a little bit overwhelming. to mitigate this I had the idea that we have no nodes visible on the map! instead you pull out a node from your position alot like bombs in expedition... This is the way you would navigate through the world... heading towards points of interest: towers, citadels, towns etc. this way you can also control what biomes you enter, of course the more steps you are from your starting position adds difficulty to a certain difficulty cap. Of course you can go back to a previous node you have pulled out (these nodes could be labeled as camps or something) and plot a new course! I would also like a bit more information available to us on the map. ie. mousing over poi's, biomes etc would give a popup with relevant information. Last bumped on Apr 7, 2026, 9:56:32 PM
