device input for mac on steam client

hi,

i recently tried to play path of exile using my macbook using controller but when i tried to use a controller either through steam input or not, it didn't seem to work or allow it to access anything within the path of exile client.

i also couldn't change inputs under the input tab under options.

is this still something being worked on or is this not a feature that will be inplemented?
