Diablo 4 New DLC VS PoE 2 0.5

As you all know, Diablo 4's new DLC is coming out on April 28 and PoE 2 0.5 coming end of April / early May. There will be only few days between them or maybe a week regardless.

I am not saying Diablo 4 is a good game or anything I'm a huge PoE 2 fan. But there is no doubt that both of them will be affecting each other with these close releases.

For Diablo 4, it's not a simple season release, it's a huge content release. This will pull in many people and be curious about it. Could be great, could be bad doesn't matter.

I really believe PoE 2 with 0.5 needs to offer good amount of new content in order to keep players interest. And they've said it's going to be a massive update I'm assuming they are preparing for the inevitable clash against Diablo 4 new dlc, I mean that game is their biggest rival after all.

Do you expect any surprises? Do you expect a huge amount of content? What are your thoughts?

Not even thinking about D4 in any case or scenario

Its either PoE1 or PoE2, nothing in between

At this point i think whoever didn't like poe 2 has already moved to d4 or other games, basically both games have already established their player base

In summary i don't think 0.5 will significantly impact d4 and vice versa

Pretty sure you could finish almost everything the DLC will have to offer in like a week. Not even a week in the last DLCs case, so i doubt it'd be an issue.

Ya D4 isn't really in my realm of things to think about. There is another game I will be in likely before we get any news about 0.5... just depends on how deep I get into that.

I mean I will definitely be watching for what changes in 0.5. To be honest even though I played the shortest amount yet in 0.4... I really like the build I was running. So depending on what changes, what is new etc I'll probably still be here for 0.5.

Honestly, they're both really bad but if I had to pick one I'd have to say Diablo. And I fucking hate Blizzard.

one week to finish the D4 DLC and have the Warlock meta basically figured out. Only the hardcore D4 fans will stick around longer than that and POE2 will have it's usual player count, maybe higher than usual if the end game patch is as fat as people are hoping

Gonna be playing D4 even if its 1 week of fun , because poe became mirror chase snoozefest.
