Essence of Desolation RECOMB

You can't recombine Essence of Desolation modifier at all, it just can't pick that mod ever. But other "Of the Essence" modifiers can be recombined. So I figured this must be bugged.

Lost of a lot of time and currency discovering this same, what I assume, bug.

did 12 1p+1p recombs, never got 2 prefixes back, and never picked the essence mod once out of the 12 attempts.

all recombs were with identical bases and no crafted/exclusive modifiers outside of the essence mod. just some occasional naturally rolling suffixes.

i'd love to finish crafting my shield :)

This looks reproducible -
2 identical shields with only the essence mod recombed should guarantee the mod stays (according to wiki).
It produces a 0 mod item. Works for both influenced and non-influenced bases.

+1 on this issue. I spend a few hundred divines trying to recombine equipments with this essence prefix, but they all went in vain. I then suspected this is a bug and did the test of only 1 essence prefix + another 1 essence prefix recombine, which resulted in a zero prefix equipment.

Please kindly help to look into this issue.
